The W3 Group was formed by the Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB), the Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators (WASDA) and the Wisconsin Education Council Association (WEAC) in August of 2007.  The Executive Directors of these three associations saw a need for a joint conversation about how to engage the public in support of quality schools during challenging times.  With open communication over the past three years the group has developed a common mission, demonstrated collaboration at the state level and developed a trust and respect amongst the three associations.  By talking about what goals the associations share and how to move toward those goals the groups hopes to provide all children in Wisconsin with a world class education.
